The Western Escarpment walking track passes through unspoiled bushland and offers fantastic coastal views. It travels through Malabar Headland National Park, providing a connection between Maroubra Beach and Malabar Beach.

Meet your expert guide, Danny Hirschfeld at Arthur Byrne Reserve carpark. You’ll then venture up the sandstone escarpment, walk through endangered Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub, with its unique flora and bird life, and end up at Pioneers Park, Malabar. This two-hour walk is roughly 1km in length, with regular stops on the way.

Meet at the entrance to the Western Escarpment walking tack, Arthur Byrne Reserve carpark. Minimum age 8 years. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum 20 people.
