A fun exploration of the beautiful coastal birds around the South Maroubra sand dunes with BirdLife educator and enthusiast, Renée Ferster Levy.
From waterbirds to bush birds and some high in the sky, we hope to see lots of summertime activity – calling, feeding, wading, chasing … maybe even nesting! You’ll learn to identify birds by sight and sound, and find out how we can enhance our local habitats to help them.
Meet at South Maroubra Surf Lifesaving Club, 1 R Marine Pde Arthur Byrne Reserve, Maroubra. Suitable for 8 years and above. Children under16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Maximum 20 people.
