We want you to share what you love about Sydney’s coast and our Summer Activities Program this Summerama, so get snappin’ and enter the 2018 Summerama Photo Comp!

Whether you are a pro rising before the sun to capture that perfect sunrise or just a self-proclaimed selfie-extraordinaire, we want to see why you love Sydney’s coast in the summertime! Show us what you’ve got sydney! #mysummerama

HOW TO ENTER

STEP 1: Take a photo between 15 December 2017 and 31 January 2018 that shows how you enjoy Sydney’s coast this summer

STEP 2: Post your photo to the Summerama Facebook page wall or post on your own wall (but make sure your post is public) with the hashtag #mysummerama

If you are entering a photo taken by a child, please also caption your photo with your child’s age

STEP 3: Check out the Summerama Facebook page after midday on Tuesday 6th February 2018 for the announcement of winners.

It is a condition of entry that you abide by the Terms and Conditions. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean that you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

Please ensure that people captured in your photo (if their identity is recognisable) have given you permission to use the photo in the competition.

Two Australian National Maritime Museum family passes are up for grabs to the winners of the 2018 Summerama photo comp

The Australian National Maritime Museums permanent and temporary exhibitions and National Maritime Collection explore and represent Australia’s close links to the sea covering Indigenous Australian’s deep connection to ocean, early exploration, immigration, commerce, defence, adventure, sport, play and identity. From fascinating artefacts, thought-provoking exhibitions and fun activities for kids (and big kids), the museum gives local and international visitors a chance to connect to Australia’s maritime past and present in an innovative way.

These family passes provide a great day of entertainment for the whole family and include entry into the following fantastic attractions:

  • > Museum Galleries & Special Exhibitions

JUDGING PROCESS

Winners will be chosen by the SCCG based on the Judging Criteria outlined below and announced on the Summerama Facebook page by midday on Tuesday 6th February 2018.

Judging, in our absolute discretion, will be based on the following Judging Criteria:

> Creativity

> Technique

> Content

> Composition

> Experimental approach

COMPETITION DATES

The competition opens at 9.00 a.m. on 15 December 2017 and closes at midnight on 31 January 2018. Winners will be announced on Facebook by midday Tuesday 6 February 2018.

WHO MAY ENTER

> Persons over 13 years (those younger than 16 years must have the consent of a parent or guardian)

> Residents or visitors to Sydney’s coastal zone

> Amateurs and professionals are welcome
